Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the youngest of three children was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8 and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, a retired real-estate developer, was the grandfather of Eileen who had immigrated from Greece back in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. She was wed to her parents in the year 1976. Psaki also descends from Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she received a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a Chi Omega Sorority member. Psaki is a William & Mary backstroke swimmer was on the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki was initially involved during the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki then became John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki will serve as a Political Analyst in 2022's United States Presidential Elections. In 2023 she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site. [35] Psaki was the first to make a television appearance following her departure from her post as White House Press Secretary on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon discussing the Robb Elementary School shooting.
